Description

Uniquely rare and wonderfully preserved with only 62,075 actual miles, this Shelby GT500 has remained in the careful hands of the current caretaker for over 43 years. One of 402 Shelby GT500 convertibles produced for the 1968 model year, one of 33 in Lime Gold and the only 1 shipped to the Central US ordering district. Carefully maintained and protected, this example is non-molested, rust free and all body panels appear as original. It is well sorted, fully functional and offers no excuses...

During the early 1980's a professional quality exterior-only maintenance refinish of the factory Lime Gold was commissioned along with a Shelby American 10 Spoke alloy wheel upgrade, any original items exchanged were retained. Included with this Shelby are the "Original" build sheet, date coded steel wheels, factory hub-caps, radiator assembly, convertible cover and framed Elite Marti report...
