Chevy Short Bed, try saying more than once :-). Resting
in the hands of the second owner since 1979 with
approximately 1k since miles since its current
restoration. Good solid 1966 Short Wide Sides are
getting hard to come by, so listen up for the rest of

Resting on a very thorough body off restoration, the
professional Jet Black finish is super slick and the
body is whistle straight. During the restoration, very
little rust was noted and/or repaired other than common
required lower rocker repair. Of which, correct patch
panels were utilized, every piece of sheet metal was worked over prior
to paint and according to the owner, no
excess filler was used anywhere. Other features include
all new bed hardwood w/multiple layers of marine
varnish, stainless bed strips & hardware, restored
bright trim, relocated fuel tank (cab to rear) and side
fuel fill door...
The chassis/braking has received a good once over with
rebuilt rear trailing arms updated w/coil-over shocks,
adjustable panhard bar, Power steering, dropped front
spindles, updated Power front Disc brakes and otherwise
brought back to earth with huge Budnik 17x10"
front/17x14" billet wheels and speed rated radial
rubber. Other updates include custom aluminum fuel cell
and Ron Francis wiring...
Power under the hood is a professionally built and very
healthy tall deck Big Block 454, aluminum Edelbrock
intake manifold & carburetor, High Energy ignition, Hi
Torque starter, big tube headers w/dual exhaust, truck
Hi flow H2O pump/cooling components, fan shroud, Line
Loc (:-) and battery cut out. Transferring the brute
power is a built Turbo 400 auto and Posi-Trac rear
differential...
Moving inside you will find later model Leather bucket
seating (power drivers), center console, custom door
